An interesting new type, the result of crossing I. iermanica with 1. pumila hybrida. They bloom earlier than the German Iris, and the flowers combine perfection of form with large size and clear and decided colors. The foliage is dwarf, and maintains its fresh- ness throughout the season. The flower stems are almost 18 inches high, holding the flowers well above the foliage. Qerda.
