India. 31st Dec, 2017. Drivers warm themselves on a early morning at Pahalgam, the famed tourist resort in south Kashmir district of Anantnag. 100 Km south of Srinagar. The night temperatures in Pahalgam yesterday dipped to minus 5-degree centigrade. The famed tourist resort records heavy snowfall in winters and the main river flowing it -the Lidder river- freeze due to sub-zero temperatures.
