The precarious balance between the city needs and the attempt to preserve the pre-existing nature always comes at the expense of the wild animals. The industries around contaminate the waters of the park and the natural habitats are gradually disappearing in favor of commercial crops and urbanization that shows no signs of slowing down, endangering the survival of the species that live there.
