Self-collected vaginal swab : the wet swab is given to the doctor to be analyzed. This test is used for the screening of different vaginal infections (vaginitis, chlamydiosis etc ) and could also be used in the detection of human papillomavirus (virus implicated in the appearance of the cancer of the cervix).
