GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (July 14, 2017) Lt. Cmdr. Remillard, commanding officer of Navy Operational Support Center Battle Creek, honors President Gerald R. Ford's life, with city of Grand Rapids leaders, the Ford Foundation, Carla A. Hills, Dick DeVos, the USS Gerald R. Ford Commissioning Committee and Ford's daughter, Susan Ford Bales. The annual wreath laying ceremony was held today at Ford's gravesite at the presidential museum on the 104th anniversary of his birth.
