THEOULE-SUR-MER, France (August 13, 2013) – The amphibious command ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) arrives in Theoule-sur-Mer, France, to participate in the 69th anniversary celebration of allied troops landing in Provence during World War II. This visit serves to continue 6th Fleet efforts to build global maritime partnerships with European nations and improve maritime safety and security.
