Scott Memorial, the statue of Robert Falcon Scott, in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard / Historical Dockyards. UK. Captain Robert Falcon Scott, CVO, RN (6 June 1868 – 29 March 1912) was a British Royal Navy officer and Antarctic explorer. Scott & his companions perished on their return journey after reaching the South Pole on 17 January 1912. The statue was sculpted by his widow, Lady Kathleen Scott, in 1915. (95)
