A helmet for officers of Infantry Regiment No. 91, after 1897 Black lacquered leather skull with gilt fittings (partially rubbed). Line eagle mounted with a silver star bearing the state coat of arms. Removable tip with base plate and four star screws, the chin scales with leather underlay and an officer's cockade (restored colour on the state cockade). The visors with red and green underlay, light brown leather sweat band and beige silk rep liner, old hand-written size designation "55". Signs of use and age.
