A green turtle (Chelonia mydas) taking off from a sea grass bed, with a suckerfish (Remora remora) attached to its belly. Very sadly, sea turtles are becoming increasingly rare. Green turtles are classified as endangered in the IUCN's Red List of Threatened Species; hawksbill turtles are classified as critically endangered.
