There are a number of them entirely different some of which are better for certain uses and others for other purposes. My descriptions tell the story as well as I can tell it. Miss Bloomington is one of the very best early ones. Spray of Gold is entirely different and a very decorative variety. Little bit later than Miss Bloomington. Golden Dream is one of my favorites but does not stand long distance shipping as well as I would like. Have had fine reports from Loyalty. Golden Cup is a fine deep color. Tobersun one of the best. ORANGES. La Paloma for early and Orange Wonder for late are two of the best. Senorita is a very showy variety for landscape work. Gay Hussar is one of the best commercials. PURPLES. In light purple Charles Dickens is in a class by itself. Will entirely supersede Anna Eberius, Henry Ford and others of that color. Troubadour is about the best dark purple. Ravenna and Dominus are fine in the medium size dark purples. Purple Queen is one of the<best. BUFFS. 'There are not many varieties that are really buff. Apricot Glow comes near it and is a fine commercial and decorative variety. Wasaga is probably the most beautiful of all in the real buff color. It might be described as something like a ruffled and very much enlarged and glorified Apricot Glow. But that doesn't convey the real beauty of the flower.
