We givehere the principal dimensions of this engine, which hasgiven most excellent results, and which seems to be a start-ing-point for the extended application of the principle of drivers, 97,000 lbs.; total weight, in working order, 126,-800 lbs. This engine has six driving-wheels and a four-wheel truck. This machine is provided with an automatic startingvalve invented by Mr. Pitkin, placed at A. The sameshops are now building several consolidation engines withthe same arrangement and the same
