Isle of Grain Power Station Chimney blown up today, The 800 foot tall Isle of Grain Power Station Chimney was blown up today on the Isle of Grain north Kent England UK. The chimney buily in 1979 was the tallest concrete structure to be demolished in the UK. The power station was decommissioned in the 2000's.
