A Dutch sabre with an ivory grip,1st half of the 18th century Single-edged blade widening slightly at the point,with three narrow fullers on each side. Both sides of the forte display ornamental etchings and the inscriptions: "vivat hollandria" and "I4K" flanked by two birds. Iron hilt with curved quillons and a large openwork single guard. Finely carved ivory grip rising to a lion head pommel.
