First, a valvetube to cut out inverse is built into it as is indicated by the illustration(Fig. 363) which shows two, instead of the usual one, bulbular , for protection the bulbular part of the X-ray tube proper is madeof lead glass save for a window of ordinary glass through which theX-rays are directed on the part to be radiographed.
