Large vase. A porcelain vase with oval body and dome-shaped lid. The ornate handles are molded in scroll loops and the lid features a scroll ornament on top. The body is painted with a scene of the death of Cleopatra inside a (Recto, mount) upper right, printed in black ink: "PLATE CCXXI." Lower center, printed in black ink: "CHELSEA. / 452. LARGE VASE. PAINTED WITH THE DEATH OF CLEOPATRA, &C. / British Museum. italicized"
