Afterglow light above the Royal William Yard in Plymouth, Devon - a few minutes after sunset


Afterglow light adorns the skies above the historic Royal William Yard in Plymouth. The site was designed by Sir John Rennie and was constructed between 1826 until 1835 and was a victualling depot for the Royal Navy. It was named in honour of Lord High Admiral King William IV.
