Strokkur geyser erupting, Iceland
Strokkur is a fountain geyser in the geothermal area beside the Hvita River in the Haukadalur valley. It erupts about every 10 minutes. The white column of boiling water can reach as high as 20-30 meters. The Great Geysir is approximately 50 meters away.
