A personal diary of the Grand Duchess Olga, 2nd half of the 19th century Light brown leather binding with dark brown decorative stamping and fine rhomb decoration, with a chiselled iron Grand Duchess' coronet on the binding above "O N" in Gothic letters. The pages have no entries, and about 1/5 of the pages have been torn out. Iron lock,the key missing. Between 1881 and 1883, Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna wrote her memoirs for her grandchildren, the Princesses Elsa and Olga, based on all notations in her diaries.
