The Cabreiro de Muiños is a recently created mask, invented in 2005 by a professional and first introduced in 2016. It aims to revive the ancient masks of Vilar de Cas in the parish of Souto de Limia, which vanished during the Civil War. Unlike the original peliqueiro, who roamed the villages of Bande, Porqueira, and Muiños covered in goat skin and wearing horns, the modern Cabreiro de Muiños features a unique and updated design
