Upon it lies his effigy, and over it is a vaultedcanopy with tabernacle work of the fifteenth cen-tury. There are some panels of the same date onthe base, and the present inscription was perhapsre-cut when these were placed in position, butthe effigy is probably of Raheres , about twenty years ago, the tomb was 40 THE CHURCH OF.
