Mayfield park, Manchester first city centre park opened September 22nd 2022 as part of Getting Building Fund. Park now hosts 140 new trees and wildlife including Bumblebees, Finches, Moorhen, Brown trout and Mallard park increases biodiversity, includes increased carbon sequestration, greater storm and flood resistance, improved health and happiness of people who use the park, increased pollination and increased resistance to climate change through planting diversity.
