Kayla Huginski, a motor transport operator assigned to the 1048th Medium Transportation Company, 143rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Connecticut Army National Guard, pulls security from a guard tower at Stones Ranch Military Reservation, East Lyme, Connecticut, Aug. 15, 2021. Huginski, and other soldiers from the 1048th, pulled security to repel a simulated opposing force, or OPFOR, who repeatedly assaulted their forward operating base, or FOB, during the course of their mission while on their annual training.
