In old Wil-liamsburg the houseis still pointed outwhere Mr. Tyler waswhen a messengerfrom Washingtoncame riding upand handed him aletter. The letter contained the news of Mr. Har-risons death ; and Mr. Tyler at once hurried toWashington and took the oath of office as was also a native of Charles City County,Virginia; but he and Harrison were living in.
