The meeting of this society was held in our new home in the Isaac Hub- bard hall, Greenwich, Conn., Friday evening, January 14. There was a very good attendance of members pres- ent. Four new members were elected and several new proposals for member- ship were received and filed. The prin- cipal feature of the evening was the installation of officers for the ensuing year, which were as follows: W. J. Sealey, president; Owen A. Hunwick, vice-president; , secretary; Robt. Williamson, treasurer; P. W. Popp, corresponding secretary. Execu- tive committee: Wm. Whitton, Oscar Addor, Anton Peterson, Thos. Ryan, John T. Burns. Tlie treasurer's report was read, showing the society to be in a very flourishing condition financial- ly. The ever increasing membership and the enthusiasm displayed by the members assures the society of a bright future. We take this opportunity of thanking our many kind friends who have in various ways helped us to make such a fine record, and we trust that our society will always merit a continuation of the same in the future. In the death of our honored member, Geo. Lander, Jr., of Greenwich, the society suffers the loss of a good friend and patron. Resolutions of sympathy were adopted to be sent to the be- reaved family, a copy to be spread on the records of the society. It was voted to hold the summer and also the fall exhibition this year as usual, the location of hall and dates to be an
