The Espai Natural de les Guilleries-Savassona (Guilleries-Savassona Natural Space) occupies the eastern end of the Central Depression. It is a landscape dominated by steep cliffs and the Sau reservoir, which has an interesting Romanesque heritage and strong potential for active tourism. The Espai Natural de les Guilleries-Savassona (Savassona Protected Natural Area) is located in the eastern sector of Osona and at the easternmost end of the Central Depression. It is a mountainous area marked by Central European and Mediterranean forests, especially holm oak, pine and oak groves, which coexist with a significant proportion of agricultural areas. Together with the Les Guilleries massif and a part of the Collsacabra mountain range, the Savassona mountains make up the Espai Natural de les Guilleries-Savassona (Les Guilleries-Savassona Natural Space), managed by the Barcelona Provincial Council and covering a territory slightly different than the one protected by the ENP
