Around 400 photographers, including many leading press photographers turned up at Scotland Yard for a 'media event' designed to highlight the dangers to our freedom of expression and action represented by Section 76 of the Counter-Terrorism Act, which makes the photography of police, armed forces or security services personnel in a way "likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism" a criminal offence. .
