Students like Kristin, a sixth grader at Parkside Elementary School, Columbus, Ind. had the opportunity to enjoy storytime with 20 Indiana National Guard soldiers from Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center who came to visit the school March 2. Soldiers read to children in classrooms to support Read Across America, a program which encourages children to reading while celebrating the birthday of Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known as "Dr. Seuss."
