MAYPORT, Fla. (May 4, 2017) – Chief Quartermaster Jeffery Ball shows Tamika and Kaiden Roach, wife and son of Quartermaster 1st Class Clarence Roach, the navigation display on the bridge of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Roach deployed with Iwo Jima, as a member of Assault Craft Unit 2, during the ship’s 2014-2015 deployment, passed away shortly after returning, on Aug. 26, 2015.
