Not for use in Television Not for use in Television Inflammation of the eye. Male patient with uveitis, an inflammation of the uvea (the middle, pigmented structures) of the eye. The sclera (white of the eye) is bloodshot and the eyelid is in spasm (blepharospasm). Usually uveitis is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks it's own body, although it may be caused by an infection.
