William Grey, who has been with the MuUanphy Flower Co. during the year, resigned his position September 1 and left for Kansas City, where he , has himself with P. Larkin. Mr. Grey's home is in Philadelphia. E. P. GriflSn, superintendent of parks at East St. Louis, 111., and L. P. Jansen, gardener at the Adolphus Busch estate, are back from the park superintendents' meeting held at San Francisco. Both were elected to serve as vice-presidents. Joseph Miller, formerly with William W. Schultz, at Peoria, 111., is spending a few weeks here with friends. Miss C. Beck, assistant professor of botany at New Hampshire College, Durham, N. H., and John Schnabel, as- sistant horticulturist at the Florida ex- periment station, Gainesville, Fla., were recent visitors. They spent all of their time at the Missouri Botanical Garden. William C. Smith is out with a new Hupmobile touring car. William A. Seeger, Jr., president of the Mullanphy Flower Co., and Mrs. Beulah Kirk Eanford, of Chattanooga, Tenn., were married August 31. The couple will soon depart for a honey- moon trip through the south. Vincent Gorly, of Grimm & Gorly, is home again after a month's stay on the Pacific coast. Frank X. Gorly left September 4 with a party of friends for a 10-day tr
