Brig. Gen. Paul Chauncey, the Assistant Adjutant General Army Training Installations and Programs, presents a scholarship check to Asia Lavender on behalf of the Florida National Guard for successfully completing the AboutFace program and earning the highest GPA of all the graduating seniors enrolled in the program. Since 1997, the program, aimed at improving academic skills for economically disadvantaged youth, has served over 27,000 students.
