HONOLULU — Telepharoah Brandon, a member of Sewa Faré, a West African Dance and Drum group, marches in the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Parade in Waikiki, Jan. 16, 2017. Brandon holds a Samoan fireknife practice staff and wears a dashiki to represent African, American and Polynesian unity.
