HEART 22 is a Humanitarian Engagements Assistance Response Team, Southern Command operation that evolved out of the longstanding effort to improve regional prosperity. This operation is a physical representation of partner nation support, in this case through integrated surgical teams and medical equipment to help alleviate strain on the medical system.
