Chest tomb below west end of St Cynhafal’s Church, Llangynhafal, dedicated to husband and wife William and Mary Evans. The slaty schist slab has cracked in two places, the longest with ivy growing along it. William Evans of Ty Isa, died Dec 1818 aged 64, Mary Evans buried 18th June 1834 Aged 88. One of the headstones in the background reads ER COF AM LIZZY Merch Robert a Dorothy Jones Mai 26 - 1862.
