Monument to the Heroes of the 1945 Prague uprising designed by sculptor Josef Václav Švarc and architect Jiří Jakub in front of the Congregational House of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church (Husův sbor) in Vinohrady district in Prague, Czech Republic. The bell tower of the congregation was used as an impromptu radio tower between 7 and 9 May 1945 during the uprising. Radio messages of those times in Czech, English and Russian carved in the monument mean: Fortify the barricades. Help Prague. Send help immediately.
