Doors and steps, brakes and sand controlled by the one brake valve,and contrary to general practice the operator must act to keep thebrakes off. In SCHEDULE SPEED per-formance these cars attain an ac-celeration and RETARDATIONof three miles per hour per one city they are reaching aschedule speed of nearly 12 miles.
