On a Sunday in July, the local population of Chirche municipality (Tenerife island) recreates the tasks, customs, farm work and even children´s games that made Tenerife during the first half of the twentieth century. It is an ideal celebration to learn about a typical wedding celebration, threshing, do handmade laundry, the process of making tiles in kilns, grain roasting, almond sludge, curing illnesses or milking goats.
