A vector is required to transport genes used as therapeutic agents to the target cell. The study of vectors, vectrology, is an important part of genetics research. Here the efficacy of a gene transfer is being studied under fluorescent microscopy using the FISH technique (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization). Here animal cells were cultured in vitro.
