Marine Corps Lance Cpl. KC Higer runs a 200 meter race in Track and Field competition during the 11th annual Marine Corps Trials at Butler Stadium on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia on April 30, 2021. Historically, the Marine Corps Trials is a consolidated adaptive sports event involving more than 250 wounded, ill, or injured Marines, Sailors, veterans and international competitors. This year, to mitigate the risks associated with COVID-19, approximately 100 active-duty recovering service members will compete in smaller, regionalized groups.
