A pair of French over-and-under percussion pistols,Baucheron in Paris,circa 1850. The barrels with microgroove rifling,but no twist,in 15 mm calibre,signed on top. Back-action locks,the lockplates also signed and with fine vine engraving. Walnut grips with iron furniture decoratively engraved en suite. Iron ramrods with brass tips. Barrels recently blued. Grips with signs of wear. Length of each 31 cm.
