Disturbed stone burial chamber (pottery fragments, a flint saw & human remains) at E end of Coldrum Neolithic long barrow, Medway Valley, Kent.

Disturbed stone burial chamber at E end of Coldrum Neolithic long barrow. Pottery fragments, a flint saw & remains of at least 24 men, women & children were found inside. All were small, long-headed 'Neolithic types' with healthy teeth & shinbones flattened by constant squatting, several showing a family similarity. The chamber was approached by steps & the mound supported by a line of boulders which have tumbled down the slope.
