Brown tail moth. Euproctis chrysorrhea. A particular problem for holiday makers on UK east coast Spurn Peninsula.

The eggs are secure in these 'tents' throughout the winter but in April the caterpillars emerge and eat everything they come across. They are causing chaos in some beach holiday resorts in the UK and almost closed the lifeboat station on Spurn point.
