BREMERTON, Washington (Sept. 27, 2016) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Carly Marcum, from Jacksonville, Florida, prepares to administer an influenza vaccination to a Sailor aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The annual influenza vaccination program is used to both prevent influenza among the crew and rehearse procedures to vaccinate the entire crew in the event of an outbreak of a serious disease. John C. Stennis is conducting a routine maintenance availability following a deployment to 7th and 3rd fleet areas of operation.
