Twinspot goby (Signigobius biocellatus). This fish is found in sandy lagoons and bays near coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific region. It feeds on small invertebrates by sifting mouthfuls of sand. This goby, which reaches lengths of centimetres, has two large spots on its dorsal fins that create the illusion the fish is much larger than it is to ward off predators. Photographed off Papua New Guinea.
