Zakim Bridge over the Charles River at dusk. The Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge across the Charles River and was part of the Big Dig Project in Boston. The Big Dig, was the largest highway construction project in the United States. The Zakim Bridge is the widest cable-stayed bridge in the world.
