Lambert, Pilot, 91st Aero Squadron, fordistinguished and exceptional gallantry over Metz, Alsace, on 15 August,1918, in the operations of the American Expeditionary Forces. HORACE MOSS GUILBERT First Lieutenant, , , Ninety-First AeroSquadron, First Observation GroupSon of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Guilbert, of Boston, Mass.; wasborn at New Berlin, , Nov. 1, 1892. He was educated at theGunnery School, Washington, Conn.; St. Pauls School, Concord,; and Yale College. He enlisted in June, 1917, trained at Ground School, andat Hempstead Field, Mineola, He sailed overseas and wastrained at Issoudun, Amanty, Gondrecourt, and Commercy. Hewas commissioned 1st Lieut, in Oct., 1917. He acted as pilot inthe 91st Aero Squadron, Observation Service. He took part in drive; was later injured, and was for six weeks withthe Aeronautic Division of the 4th French Army as Liaison Officer. In Jan., 1919, he received the Croix de Guerre, with Palm, forbringing back valuable information in July, 1918, when he and oneother observation plane were attacked by six enemy plane
