Coast Guard Cutter Healy, a 420-foot icebreaker homeported in Seattle, conducts science operations the southern Arctic Ocean Oct. 4, 2015, after becoming the first surface vessel to reach the North Pole unaccompanied on Sept. 5, 2015.
