Take the most sensitive tooth you canfind, and I shall agree to remove all the enamel withoutcausing as much pain as in the adjustment of a good-sizedgold filling. In these two cases the total number of teethre-enameled was twelve, the operation requiring seven convinced those who witnessed the manipulation thatit is comparatively easy to remove, if necessary, all thatremains
