Antique c1860 hand written sermon from a traveling preacher. The one on the left draws from Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord." The one on the right draws from Proverbs 8:11 "For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it." The upper left corner on each lists a group of towns (up & down east coast of United States to Halifax, Canada) where the sermon was read in the 1850s and 1860s.
