The Beautiful Wood Lily. These pretty bulbs send up five or six blooms each, large, drooping, lily-like flowers, rich canary yellow, and borne on long slender stems. The foliage is very handsome, as well as the flowers, they make highly ornamental pot plants, and when planted in open ground, will soon take care of themselves and bloom beautifully every spring, 5 cts. each; 3 for 12 cts.; 12 for 40 cts. The jonquils are lovely low growing little flowers, and like the hyacinths and crocus, bloom very early in spring and are very pretty and attractive. They are bright golden yellow, and delightfully sweet scented. Highiy valued for bedding and borders, and also for house culture in pots or pans, several should be planted together for best effect.
